Terms of Service
Last updated: July 2026
These terms explain what Paperbird is — and just as importantly, what it is not. By using the app you agree to them.
Not a law firm
Paperbird is a self-help software tool. We are not a law firm, we do not provide legal advice, and no attorney-client relationship is created by using the app. The documents you create are drafts based on commonly used templates.
Your responsibility
You are responsible for reviewing every document before signing it and for executing it correctly (witnesses, notarization, filing) under the laws of your state. Laws change and vary by jurisdiction; for complex or high-stakes situations, consult a licensed attorney.
Free to use
Paperbird is currently free. If paid features are introduced in the future, they will be clearly marked and entirely optional — nothing you have already created will be taken away.
Your content
You own the documents you create. We claim no rights over their contents. You may export, share, or delete them at any time.
No warranties
The app is provided “as is”. We work hard to keep templates accurate and current, but we cannot guarantee that any document meets the requirements of your specific situation or jurisdiction.
